Serck Motorsport and Tuthill Porsche Partner to Develop New High-Flow Oil Cooler for Classic Porsche 911s
The new oil cooler is designed to improve the performance and reliability of the Porsche 911 2.0L engine, especially during high-performance driving or track days. It is meticulously crafted from high-grade aluminium and features a 16 fins-per-inch core for optimal heat dissipation.
The partnership between Serck Motorsport and Tuthill Porsche brings together Serck’s expertise in performance cooling products with Tuthill’s knowledge of classic Porsche restorations and racing modifications. The result is a new oil cooler that is specifically designed to meet the needs of the Porsche 911 2.0L engine.
“We are excited to partner with Tuthill Porsche on the development of this new oil cooler,” said Graham Smith, Serck Motorsport GM. “Tuthill Porsche is a leading authority on classic Porsches, and their expertise has been invaluable in helping us to create a product that meets the specific needs of the Porsche 911 2.0L engine. Furthermore, the development of this unique cooler has exploited all areas of our business: from CNC machining and hand-fabricated manufacturing; right the way through to our prestigious Racing Services department. This cooler gets the same treatment as our Formula 1 clients – micron-level cleaned before it leaves our premises. There’s not a single cooling manufacturer that can say the same!”
“The new oil cooler is a significant improvement over the stock unit,” said a Tuthill Porsche Spokesperson. “Previously, we could go through several standard units over the course of a single race weekend, and the last thing you want is to starve these engines of oil…”
