Graham Smith’S 1957 Chevrolet Snow White
This radiator was the first design of many that inspired greater cooling capacity for Big Block V8 with high horse power engines for both nitrous and turbo power adder set ups. The problem statement was easy how to build a radiator that not only would be capable on the race track but also covering many street miles in any conditions. Not and easy task , however myself and the team at Serck Motorsport came up with a specific design that incorperated trans fluid, engine oil and water system not too mention the core specifics, design and the flow as we also has to think about high flow electric eater pumps upto 55 gpm. All of this was designed into the cooling pack of Snow White and she never exceeded 195 degs even on a high ambient day in traffic for hours. We didn’t need to build a radiator the size of Texas to achieve this either, the whole idea was governed by clean air in and out of the system and fan support when it was needed at the right temperature point to ensure a smooth balance in general.
Looked stunning and performed to perfection – Engineered Intelligent Cooling Systems from Serck are now used in all high performance race cars and street cars and it all started with this unique design.
